The intent of this observation was to investigate the size relationships between our site and future program use. At the site we used flagging to mark out the dimensions of a basketball court, vendor spaces, sidewalks and parking.
In the site mock ups below, I used Sketchup’s photo match function to place a scaled model of a basketball court onto the site observation photos. This exercise gave me a better understanding of the space and size relationships between our chosen programs and the site.
This photosynth documents the large lot on site one, which sits between Mandeville St. and Spain St. just north of the levee wall.
